Welcome!

This is not a complete guide, but is to clarify the basic strategy of Style Wars for a casual guild who wants to be a little bit competitive.

My goal is to write an easily Google-translatable page in simple language.

Style Wars Strategy

Style Wars is a type of event in CocoppaPlay.
Special guests (artists) ask you to help them solve their problems.
You have a weapon called a Style Blaster, with which you can help them.
This weapon is used to "Beam" items with a shining light to make them beautiful.

In short,
1) Have an active friends list.
2) Have a guild who is interested in the event and also knows this strategy.
3) Look for SSR artists and use your most powerful items to finish her quest.
All other artists are means to obtain supplies to use on the SSR, or to obtain the event promo items you like.  It is not important to finish them very fast or to spend your energy recovery items on anyone other than SSR.  If you keep an active friends list who helps you, things will move along smoothly.

Charm

Charm is your strength in a Style War!
It is important to raise your charm score as high as you can as early as you can.
Charm gets multiplied as you play the event, so every little increase in the score matters greatly.

The fastest way to raise your charm score is to play the newest Gachas.
The next best way to raise your charm score is using Lucky Tickets.

Lucky Tickets should always be used to raise charm to 2,000-3,500 before playing the Lotto for items.  Charm is more important than those items in the beginning.

If you do not play the gachas much, you should try to raise the Lotto Charm (shown at left) to the full 3,500.

It is hard to be patient, and to see that score build up so slowly, but it is critical to your success in Style Wars.  Do not skip this step or your scores will always be frustratingly low, and even your strongest items will not deal much damage.

☆ Charm is very important, do not overlook it! ☆

The Style Blaster & Style Beam

Your weapon in Style Wars is the Style Blaster, which shoots a Style Beam.
Energy is shown in the 6 small bars at the bottom.
The Blaster has 3 ways to use energy:
Tiny Beam (free) costs 0 energy to deal damage of (Your Charm Score × ½)
Beam costs 1 energy to deal damage of (Your Charm Score × 1)
Super Beam costs 2 energy to deal damage of (Your Charm Score × 3)

The best strategy for this weapon is to spend Beam and Super Beam mainly on other peoples' guests when you want to complete them.
On your own guests, you should use Tiny Beam nearly exclusively.
There are exceptions, but try to not spend your Blaster's energy on Normal, Normal+ or Rare guests unnecessarily.

When you have spent your Blaster's energy, you may recover with Energy Bottles and Mini Energy bottles.

Mini Energy Bottle restores 1 Beam of energy

Energy Bottle restores 100% of your Blaster's energy.

KiraKira Bomb

Your other weapon in this event is the KiraKira Bomb.
These are rare items which cost 0 energy to deal damage of (Your Charm Score ×10)
These should only be used on SSR guests.
Use many on one SSR guest to raise them to MAX fast as possible.
Of course, try to not be wasteful of these resources.  When you are close to MAX, you may only need to spend a Beam ×3 or Beam ×1 to finish the SSR's quest. Keep an eye on how far the bar jumps as you use the beams and bombs, and gauge how much more you need to use to MAX the guest.

Spend your energy strategically to minimize the number of bombs you require to MAX a SSR guest's happiness. *This is the key to Style Wars!*

Guests (Artists)

There are several types of guests who will visit you in Style Wars. (Click the name for images)
Normal    -  a common artist who may appear when you cheer for a show during the event
Normal+  - a less common artist who may appear when you cheer for a show during the event
Rare        -  an uncommon artist who may appear when you cheer for a show during the event
Super Rare 1 - an uncommon artist who may appear when you cheer for a show during the first half of the event
Super Rare 2 - an uncommon artist who may appear when you cheer for a show during the second half of the event
and lastly,
Super Super Rare (SSR) who the game also calls "Double Super Rare"
SSR is a special artist who is the key to victory in Style Wars.
SSR may appear rarely, when you cast the final Beam which MAX the happiness of a MAX level guest.
If an SSR visits you, you should try to complete her happiness by yourself if possible.
More often, you may meet an SSR which another player discovered, then asked for your help to fulfill.

Meeting her is your chance for BIG points and a lot of tickets!
You should always jump to get to this character happy as fast as possible, and spend your resources fast to Bomb and Beam her to completion.

(Take a look at the points to the left, which I earned by completing a single SSR mostly myself. Compared to all other artists, that is a big big difference. This is why I say SSR is the key to scoring high in this event, and the ONLY artists you should spend bombs on.)

How to meet artists and what to do next

In style wars, only one artist will visit you at a time.
Another will not appear until the one visiting you has been satisfied and departs.
You must either address the current guest or wait for time to run out.
If you are unsure if an artist is present, look at the event icon at the left side of your show.

This icon is the Event Title.  When you see this icon, neither you nor any of your friends have an artist awaiting your attention.  When you see this icon you should cheer for some shows until an artist appears.

This icon means that someone else has met an artist and is requesting your help to finish their quest.
If you see this icon, you do not have an artist visiting you.
It is safe to keep cheering shows.
Or you may click this icon to go to the event section and help your friends with their artists if you need to raise your numbers or collect more Lucky Tickets.

Continue cheering for shows until an artist appears.
If you are ready to address the artist's quest, press Beam.
If you want to keep looking at the show you were cheering, press Close. The artist will wait for a few minutes.  You can address her when you are ready by going to the Event page.

When you see this icon, an artist is waiting for you to complete her quest.
Do not continue cheering for shows if you see this icon. Another artist will not appear!
When you see this icon, you should try to Help Others until your artist has been satisfied by your friends.
If the artist has not been fully helped by your friends, you might need to finish her by yourself. This should not be the usual way you play this event, however.
When an artist visits you, she has a problem and requests your help.
Your first blast of your Style Blaster does not cost you any energy.
This blast is called the Tiny Beam.
You must always make a Tiny Beam before taking any other action on an artist.

Tiny Beam's damage will be equal to (Your Charm Score × ½)
If this is enough to finish off the artist's quest, she will say thank you, give you payment, and then you may go back to cheering right away.

If your Tiny Beam does not complete the artist's quest, you will have options on how to proceed.
If your Tiny Beam did not complete the artist's quest, your next move should be to "Request Help from Everyone."

After "Requesting Help", then choose the next icon down: "Help Friends."

You will be taken to the page shown below:

Your current artist appears at the top of this list. The game automatically scrolls past it, but you can usually catch a glimpse to see if she is gone or not.

During the time that you have this artist who you have already met with a Tiny Beam and requested help from others, you should try to Tiny Beam as many of your friends' artists as possible.  Remember that any shows you cheer for while you have an artist already will not help your Style Wars performance.  So using Tiny Beam instead is the best action you can do until your artist disappears from the top of this list.

If your friends' artists stop appearing for you, wait a moment then refresh the event page to see if new ones have been found.

Remember that on any artists other than SSR, you should not use up the Style Beam energy except when absolutely necessary, such as if time is running out and you really need more rares for your reward count.

Use one Tiny Beam only, then as fast as possible, return to this "Help Friends" list to meet another.
For all artists other than the SSR, you should always use "Request Help from Everyone" unless your club has made arrangements to be online all together and stay active to help each other.
For most casual clubs, the "Everyone" button will be the better choice.

If you can not complete an SSR artist by yourself, check for activity in your Club and ask club members if they can help you.
If they are available, then you should press the button to "Request Help from Club."

If no Club members respond, then you should use "Request Help from Everyone."
Asking everyone should be a last resort.  That allows points and tickets to go to members of other clubs than yours.
Always try to keep SSR's points "in the family" by completing it yourself, or asking the club to help.
